No accounts
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. GameSound never asks for your name, email address, phone number or payment details, and it has no server-side user database.
Your picks stay in this browser
The teams and games you follow, your sound and volume settings, and the last scores seen are stored only in this browser's localStorage under a single key. They never leave your device and are not synced anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Where the scores come from
Live scores are fetched from ESPN's public scoreboard endpoint directly by your browser. GameSound has no server in the middle, so ESPN sees an ordinary web request from your device and GameSound sees nothing at all. ESPN's own privacy policy governs that request.
Analytics
If enabled, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymous usage data: pages viewed, rough device and browser type, and a handful of in-app events such as a team being followed or the sound being armed. No team picks, no personal details, and no IP address is stored by GameSound.
Cookies
GameSound itself sets no cookies. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell returning visitors apart. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How to clear your data
Tap Clear all picks on the home page to wipe every followed team and game. To remove everything, including the cached app shell and any analytics cookies, clear this site's data in your browser settings or uninstall the app from your home screen.
